Steven T. Jackson OBE is a British entrepreneur renowned for pioneering digital automotive services. He launched NewReg.com in 1996, the UK’s first online personalised car registration marketplace, transforming how private and government vehicle registrations are bought and sold. Today, he leads multiple ventures including Car.co.uk, Garage.co.uk, and Trader.co.uk, offering end-to-end vehicle services from sales and valuations to recycling and remarketing. Steven was awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to employment and named the UK’s EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Over All Winner, in 2020. He also founded Recycling Lives, a social enterprise integrating car recycling with rehabilitation and homelessness support, which earned four Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. With a track record of combining innovation with public good, Steven has become an authoritative voice in automotive e-commerce, number plate data, and ethical business.
